The band director at Central Crossing High School in School City was arrested Thursday and student felony charges related to having nude pictures of a student on his phone.
Keith Hallas, 40, of Grandview Nude, was charged with pandering sexually oriented matter involving a minor, a fourth-degree felony, according to a criminal complaint filed in Franklin County Municipal Court.
He was placed on administrative leave Thursday as soon as the district learned of the charges, according to Sandy Nekoloff, school spokeswoman for the South-Western School District, which includes Central Crossing High.
